Get rid of all the toys (traction/launch control, drive by wire, etc.) and let the so called best drivers in the world be drivers and not glorified RC car pilots who happen to be sitting in the seat as the race goes on.
It is extremely sad when we lose drivers, And Dale Earnhardt's death hit all of us hard. But the safety features that have come out of it, have been Fanstastic. So why do we need slower cars?
It's bad enough we have to put up with NBC and its affiliates LOUSY weekly coverage. But now we are just supposed to sit back and let NASCAR screw up our sport. Maybe the fans should strike.
