(The following letter is from Rich Winkler, president of Dirt Wurx, who was in The Freak Nation last weekend with Kevin Windham.)

Hey guys! Thanks for having me on the show last night, it was fun and I hope you liked it and it was interesting for your audience. I really appreciate having the opportunity.

Kevin was cool too.  He had been teasing me at Anaheim, saying he was going to talk trash about the track when we went on the show, so I had to ambush him a little bit with that dig I got in about needing to build the tracks easy just for him. To be truthfull, K-Dub is, in my opinion, one of the most talented riders in the rich history of our sport, and a great guy as well.  He underplayed it on the show, but his heat race crash was a bad one, and he was hurt and shaken when he lined up for the main.  To put in that incredible ride, coming from nearly last to third, on a tough track, against the worlds best riders, in the condition he was in, was one of the most gutsy, from the heart rides I have ever seen, and gave me even more respect for him than I already had.  The kid just really has sand !

Thanks again, and I hope to be able to do it again someday soon.

WINK
