Asking the tough questions of Motorsports Big Timers

Hollywood, CA (April 11, 2007) – “Run your tiny little legs off little fella and holla from the motorsports mountains, SpeedFreaks has a new time slot on ESPN2,” said the weary and worn sailor from some movie we’ve never heard of.

SpeedFreaks will make more sense than that punch drunk sailor ever did when they debut in their new time slot this Thursday at 5pm EST.  You know the drill, in the Lucas Oil Studios the quartet will be throwin’ a house party for the Freak Nation from the Mac Tools Pits in Nashville.

Crash Gladys, Lugg Nuttz, Statt Mann Caruthers and Kenny Sargent will put to bed any rumors of their extinction.  A story that spread like a desert dune wild fire some weeks ago.  “The dunes don’t have fires… uh, do they?” exclaims Mr. Nuttz.  No Lugg, they don’t.

"The Freaks have gathered up all our eggs from a festive Easter weekend and will show off our shiny basket of goodies this Thursday afternoon as part of ESPN2’s Garage,” says SpeedFreaks Kenny “Kottontail” Sargent.  “We have a stellar cast of guests in the Freak Nation but one group we are really proud of are the kids from America’s Baby Cancer Foundation.  We let loose “Bulldog” Brandon, “Mad Dog” Matt, “Fast” Eddy and others, with mic and camera in hand, and they put the wood to a few NHRA and Monster Truck pilots.”

NHRA drivers like David Grubnic, Hillary Will and Jack Beckman (a cancer survivor himself) get some tough Q&A from the kids.  Then it’s Monster Truck drivers from Grave Digger and Monster Mutt’s turn to take the hard balls from the young Cronkite's and Curic’s.

This Freaks’ Thursday gets even edgier as the quartet debates some Freak Style topics of their own:  With the mounds of money Toyota is supposedly spending in the NEXTEL Cup Series, is Toyota the New York Yankees of NASCAR?  NASCAR's Casey Mears and NHRA's Brandon Bernstein just may have a take on the money matter.

And… Are Monster Trucks a real competition or just an exhibition?  Before you get too carried away there Einstein, you best settle yourself and tune in.  Again, legend!  Get your emails ready!
