Editor's Note:  Obviously we received hundreds of letters on Boogity, Boogity, Boogity.  Some were better and some were worse but the following are three examples that minimized the name calling and less than admirable language!

It's obvious that we're a NASCAR Nation divided on opinions about DW's Boogity Boogity Boogity.

The bottom line is this… That phrase has become a household phrase in NASCAR, and has been for a long time. I very seriously doubt that DW is going to care what one individual who happens to be on a TV show thinks about something that he's been doing for years.
He will continue to say it whether you like it or not.

Even if he DID quit saying it, half the NASCAR Nation would continue to shout it at the start of every race, and they would be the ones to rub it in your face if they ever had the opportunity.

If it bothers someone that much, mute the TV for 5 seconds. I very seriously doubt that you'd miss THAT much sound in that few seconds, especially when FOX has the "Crank It Up" feature! Get a grip, and let it be!

Darrell is the best and it just wouldn't be the start of the race without his Boogity Boogity Boogity.  Darrell keeps thing going and cracks me up.  He is Awesome!  Perhaps the ones that don't like it should take a Beer or Bathroom break at the start of the race or go watch the grass grow–Darrell & Boogity Forever!!!

I say this, as a DW fan from the late 70's to the present, that phrase has got to GO! It has worn out it's welcome, just as has Brian France and Mike Helton's poor decisions have. Get rid of the chase, the protected 35, and the stupid electronic speed monitoring on pit road. All the drivers should come onto pit road watching their tachs and as soon as the first guy slows to pull into his pit (hopefully the very first pit stall) and the entire field rearends each other. I was watching the day Bill Elliott's crew member got killed, so I know pit road needs to be safe, but they are getting way to anal about this and some other things.
