This is the Statt Mann baby. It's time to Scatt a little bit.

In the past week there’ve been several Web threads questioning the value of Lewis Hamilton as the World Driving Champion.

For the record Lewis has nine wins in his first 36 races, 13 additional podiums and only three finishes outside the top ten. That’s in his first two seasons at the highest level of racing.

Only five current drivers have more wins. The greatest of all time – Michael Schumacher – didn’t get his first win until his 18th race. Hamilton’s came in his sixth as part of a string of nine straight podiums to start his F1 career.

For that phenomenal record, Lewis was booed this year in Spain and Brazil. Some of those booing were dressed in wigs and black face with Lewis’ name on their T-Shirts.

F1 boss Bernie Ecclestone who dismissed the racial displays in Spain and Brazil as nationalism and not racism. We’re told that Hamilton and his family have worked things out with Bernie. Believe that if you want to. Forgiving a man for denying who you are is difficult at best. It's easier, though, to just go on with life and ignore the ignorant.

Like pornography, I guess you have to see racism or experience it to understand it.

Remember Ecclestone is the same guy who supported his friend Max Mosley who was busted on video with whores dressed as Nazis. He’s also the guy who compared Danica Patrick to a kitchen appliance last year.

Ecclestone might be like those old, raggedy shorts that need to be thrown out after the skidmark stains can’t be washed away.

Oh… and America finds a black man for the Oval Office but NASCAR can’t find one for a Cup office. Funny how that works. Like I said, you have to see and experience racism before you know it, I guess.

Peace.
