This is the Stattmann Baby!!  Time to Scatt a little bit.

Here’s some of my thoughts on Juan Pablo Montoya to NASCAR:  Ask Tracy, Fittipaldi, Fernandez and Jourdain (among others) about how tough it is to drive stock cars well.

What stock car drivers do isn't respected enough.

Let's see how Montoya reacts when a train of Roush and Hendrick cars whosh by him over and over again, especially with Ganassi not building competitive stock cars now.

Montoya is a poor teammate.  He's selfish.  And he treats the equipment like problems can be corrected with White Out.

NASCAR says the move will help its diversity efforts.  The announcement brought two paragraphs in one of L.A.’s Spanish dailies.  That’s out of 18 sports pages.  Some help!

Tony Stewart’s switch from open wheel to stock cars obviously has been a success.  But Stewart’s passions come from within.  Montoya’s come when he looks in the mirror.

Peace.
