Hollywood, CA (September 5, 2007) – Sing it Freaks… Are you ready for some football?  SpeedFreaks sure are… Sarge has his jones to get back to Austin for some UT tailgates, Statt Mann feels the need for revenge for his Buckeyes, Lugg Nuttz is already doning his MN Viking helmet and Crash is still basking in the Colts’ Superbowl glory.  But before that Colts Kickoff on Thursday night, the Freaks will play in one more motorsports mosh pit from the Toyo Tires pits.

Diving into the pit will be NASCAR’s Kasey Kahne, Actor / Driver / Team Owner Patrick Dempsey, Rally Champs Colin McRae & Travis Pastrana, Swimming Gold Medalist Amanda Beard, Metal Mulisha’s King FMXer Brian Deegan and a slew from the NHRA including Don “The Snake” Prudhomme, John Force, Jeg Coughlin, Hillary Will, Cruz & Tony Pedregon, JR Todd, Tom Bayer and Larry Dixon.

This Thursday, September 6 at 5 p.m. ET, SpeedFreaks will officially wrap their 4th TV season.  “We ask some drag racing stars who they think has had the most stellar season to date.  And if you’re one of the fortunate few who has followed the Freaks for a while, I’m sure you can guess who Don Prudhomme picks,” says the Freaks’ Crash Gladys.  “Me, on the other hand… it was a little tougher for me.  Many open wheel stars have had a great year and like a typical woman, I just can’t make up my mind who deserves the Freak honor more!”

“Crash thinks she had the tough job on this show, but it was up to me to fill a three minute interview slot with John Force.  Do you know how hard that is to do?” sniped the Freaks Kenny Sargent.  “The man went on for almost 20 minutes, talking about Ashley’s future, Eric Medlen and chics in bikinis on beaches.  Since the interview is one of those Force classics, you’ll now be able to hear the complete Freak on Force in it’s entirety… watch the show to find out how.”

Also in the 30 minute Freakdom, SpeedFreaks will delve into the new Countdown for the Championship, NHRA’s version of a playoff system.  Though unlike NASCAR’s Chase, there is actually an elimination bracket in the Countdown.  Is it working?  Is it good for the NHRA?  We’ll let the drivers tell you what they think.

For the final time in ‘07, don’t miss it… set your TiVO’s, DVR’s, VCR’s and cell phone alarms and catch the Freaks Foursome.

And remember, the backbone of the Freak Nation, the national radio show, will continue as it has for over 7 years, each and every Sunday night, 10 p.m. ET on stations across the country.  AND, making it’s debut this week will be exclusive video, unedited complete TV interviews and more one of a kinds on the Jeg’s Media Page.  All this, combined with the weekly audio and video podcasts, there’s no excuse for not getting your weekly Freaks Fill!
