Well, Freaks, the biggest story of the weekend hasn’t even happened yet… it will be Monday morning when Danica Patrick appears on Good Morning America and announces her IndyCar contract… yes you heard me correctly, her INDYCAR contract, NOT anything to do with NASCAR.  We Freaks are still wondering if the NASCAR deal will come together at all… but most certainly not by tomorrow morning.

The F1 calendar for 2010 is slowly improving… even though the British GP is still in jeopardy, fans in North America will be treated to the return of the super sonic open wheelers in Montreal for the bargain price of $15 million a year sanctioning fee… yep, greedy Bernie considers that a steal!

Speaking of F1, no injury recovery would keep driver Felipe Massa away from his own charity karting event this weekend… and how about him winning the second leg of the tourney, too!  Remember, Felipe was critically injured in a freak accident at the Hungarian Grand Prix this summer… this weekend’s karting event was his first competitive event since his season ending injury.  Overall winner on the weekend was none other than Michael Schumacher… highest finishing IndyCar driver, 3rd place to AJ Foyt’s Vitor Meira.

Here’s a question for ya… are relationships or marriage bad for the workplace? I can’t believe I’m asking that, especially considering what I went through this year – ha, ha!!!  Well, for World Rally Champ Sebastien Loeb, they are not bad… Sebastien and his wife, Severine (who acted as his co-driver) won the French Championship round in the Rallye du Var… after the race, Sebastien said, “It's always nice when you win, and I also prefer giving a celebratory kiss on the podium to Severine rather than [regular co-driver] Daniel [Elena].”
