Michael Schumacher ruled in F1. Gil de Ferran was on top in CART. Buddy Lazier in the Indy Racing League.

And a Freaks Favorite, Scott Dixon, was winning the Indy LIGHTS title. He has SIX IndyCar championships now!

Alan McNish was on top in the ALMS. James Weaver ruled Grand-Am. He once told me a wild story of getting locked out of his hotel room in his birthday suit one night.

Marcus Gronholm was the World Rally Champion. His son Niclas was third in World Rallycross last year.

And Bobby Labonte was the NASCAR champion.

Lots of memories in that list. Hope they were good ones for you.

For me? I’ve become friends with the monster living under my bed. And I’m now friends with the voices in my head.
