Meet George Jetson!!

Brings a smile to even think I’m commenting on this.

I wasn’t a Flintstones or Jetsons fan when I was growing up.

Don’t know why. And it’s really not important.

The characters and story lines just didn’t interest me.

But there is a company called Jetson Aero – look up JetsonAero.com – who’s building a personal electric device that will fly over stalled traffic at greater than 60 miles an hour.

It might be popular.

The website says all the production is sold out for this year.

You’ll have to wait ‘til next year if you want one.

Ever since I was a kid we were promised flying cars by the year 2000.

That promise went nowhere.

The only flying our cars are doing now is from one gas station to the next with maybe a stop at a bank loan officer in between.

Why is all this important?

In the Jetsons animated TV show, back in the 1960s, the patriarch of the family, George Jetson, was said to have been born on July 31, 2022.

That’s today.

So, in case you wondered, this is the future.
