This is the Statt Mann Baby!!  Time to Scatt a little bit.

The other day and I came across a guy who’d stuffed a big block into his late 70s Chevy Nova.

He smoked up a claim of 700 horsepower, a pipe dream considering the state of the swap but that’s not the point here.

Leaving, I noticed that big block power depending on a stock six cylinder brake system.  Pretty dumb!

That’s like drivers who announce team swaps in mid season and then experience a six cylinder letdown to their big block programs.

Renault’s Fernando Alonso was the defending F1 champion with more than 20 points in hand to another title when he said he’d swap Renault for Mclaren next year.  He was in the battle of his life to keep that title until an uncharacteristic Ferrari blow up today in Japan.

While Alonso staggered, there were even questions about Fernando’s support from his Renault teammates.

Big Block power.  Six cylinder planning.  Never works.

Peace.
