Two-time Grand-Am Rolex Daytona Prototype champion (2007 & 2009) Alex Gurney got to start the Rolex 24 at Daytona Saturday afternoon and had to battle back from a pit road penalty for speeding. He fought back though, and after a restart his GAINSCO Racing Red Dragon team was fourth about two hours into the Classic. We got a chance to talk with Gurney before he disappeared into his motor coach to rest before getting back in the car tonight.
