This is the Statt Mann Baby. Time to Scatt a little bit.

Consider some questions: When was the last time you were happy?

Can you remember when watching a car race with thousands of your closest friends, can you remember when that made you happy?

Do you find happiness watching a race for hours instead of going outside and breathing the air, or being cold or getting wet in the rain? Or hugging someone and telling them you love them and mean it? Or, simply, enjoying your life with satisfaction until there’s meaning to who and what you are.

I saw a piece this morning on television about a book called “Build the Life you Want.”

The authors aren’t important. Their names will trigger a flood of social media insanity that would defeat the purpose. But the lesson is three things: enjoyment, satisfaction and meaning.

A combination of those things that can produce happiness in your life, not your family, or friends. YOUR life.

And don’t give me Social media. Losing yourself as a fan boy or girl in a driver’s happiness or pain does nothing for your enjoyment, satisfaction or meaning.

When you find that it does, find a mirror.

Peace.
