HOUR ONE:
10:00 p.m. ET / 7:00 p.m. PT
Activity extraordinaire this weekend in Daytona and Aspen where the 50th Anniversary of the 24 Hours of Daytona went down and of course the party known as the X Games, too. This week's show will kick off with one of the drivers of the winning car in Daytona... a 24 hour endurance race that in recent years has turned into a 24 hour sprint! From there, we'll keep the conversation about Daytona, but shift on to stock cars as we feature Leilani Munter and her recent push to run the first ever ocean awareness car in the ARCA Daytona opener. Leilani, an eco-activist, has worked very hard to bring the Academy Award winning documentary "The Cove" to the asphalt to help raise awareness of dolphin captivity and slaughter... and YOU can help, too: The Cove Daytona ARCA Car
If you want in on the fun, send emails, tweets or Facebook posts to the following: PitCrew@SpeedFreaks.TV or Facebook or Twitter
HOUR TWO:
11:00 p.m. ET / 8:00 p.m. PT
SpeedFreaks' second hour will kick off with the NHRA legend, Kenny 'The King' Bernstein as he will talk about his upcoming memorabilia auction where virtually everything from his Southern California shop will be made available to the public for the first (and last) time ever. Kenny plans to auction items such as championship funny car bodies, Wally trophies, firesuits, leather jackets and so much more! Then to close the show, we hope to have one of the Snocross Gold Medal Winners on the freak-fone line, too. Could it be Texas' Colten Moore from Thursday's Freestyle competition or tonight's Best Trick winner... stay tuned to find out!
And of course, we'll get back to the weird and wacky, with the continuation of our 'Not Much Motorsports' segment... yep.
